He has a Canada shoulder badge and a Leading Seaman badge on his left sleeve. Beneath the Leading Seaman badge is a Two Stripe badge. There is another unidentifiable badge on his right sleeve. He is wearing a hat and he is not smiling. The negative was stored in a brown paper bag with '6606' written in the top left corner in blue ink.
