The groom is wearing a uniform and the bride is wearing a long, light coloured dress with veil and holding a bouquet. The picture was taken inside a studio. The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by one proof (labelled b). The negative and proof were kept in a brown envelope with '1016 L.A.C. & Mrs. Kempsler 6 - 8 x 10 group 6 - 8 x 10 B-G - 19.00 Dp 2 - $17.00' written on it in ink.
